Emergency Relief
The Mullumbimby and District Neighbourhood Centre is funded to provide Emergency Relief to people in crisis. This service is provided by trained emergency relief volunteers.
The Emergency Relief service may be able to assist with material aid which includes food vouchers, Electricity Account Payment Scheme and Telstra Bill Assistance Vouchers.
The funding is very limited and there are strict guidelines as to who is eligible and who from the Centre can provide this confidential service.
At this time, Emergency Relief services are only available Mondays to Thursdays from 11 am to 2 pm.
If Emergency Relief services are not available at the Centre, when you need it, we can assist with a referral to St Vincent de Paul or St Martin’s Anglican Church
Emergency Relief services at Mullumbimby and District Neighbourhood Centre are funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs under the Emergency Relief Program.
