Lismore and District Financial Counselling Service Inc. provide a weekly outreach service to the Mullumbimby and District Neighbourhood Centre. They also provide Financial Counselling at their head office in Lismore and outreach services at Casino, Ballina and Byron Bay.

Lismore and District Financial Counselling Service Inc. provide a free service for people having money problems, in particular with debts.

- your rights regarding debt and debt collection
- assessing your financial situation and your options
- how to talk to your creditors
- bankruptcy
- credit laws and practices
They don't give information on investments, do tax returns, recommend sources of credit, help you to get extra credit or give out charitable assistance, emergency relief money or electricity (EAPA) vouchers.
